Lonely Lamp Post
Once I read a poem, probably in the seventh standard, where there was a line I'll never forget, that was................'Men may come and men may go but I don't go forever' a river was telling that to the poet. Yesterday I was walking on a railway platform in the evening. The plat form was quite, no one, nothing was around only the lamp post and some left over cargo on the rail. The lamp post seemed so lonely and I felt like, he was saying me the same.
Dawn or Dusk??
Dusk on 'Batali Hill'
Well it is quite a long time I posted my pics here. Today is the 'EID DAY' the religious festival in Islam. After a month of sacrifice and control the day comes like a day from heaven, the day of joy, share and happiness. esterday I went to 'Batali Hill' and reached it highest pick as usual to enjoy the nature, to talk to her and to be with her. On the time of leaving I found that the sky became redish as if a new bride wore the vermilion on her forehead.

As if the golden sun is melting on our city
The dusk on our city-Chittagong, as if the sun is melting like gold!!
I took the picture from my roof. I was returning to my home from office and a bit upset for some professional problem. When I'm upset I used to look at the sky to feel its vastness, look at the nature to feel the thrill, look at the people around to feel the variety of lives. That day when I was looking at the sky it just changed my mood, I felt happy that I'm alive in this world and born in such a beautiful city. The dusk on our city-Chittagong, as if the sun is melting like gold.

A typical village yard
There was a saying 'Bangladesh will live only if her 64,000 villages live!'. Bangladesh is a land of villages and most of our people are farmer. Still the ratio is high. This is a typical village scenario. A pond in front of the home yard. The home made of mud basically and the straw roof but some financially solvent family make their home with C.I sheet. Now a days some villages even came under electricity supply. Our Government even planning to bring all villages under internet facility. Lets see how far we can get !!

The Birth Place of My city - Chittagong
It is 'Cheragi Hill' the picture was taken by my mobile-Sony Ericson K800 in a cloudy day.
It was said that once upon a time 'Chittagong' was a dense hilly forest where lives the 'MOGH' s (The original tribe to whom Chittagong belongs, their king was the ruler of ancient Chittagong) and genie. Then one day a messenger Of 'Allah' (the GOD in Islam) 'Hazrat Badar Shah Pati' came to the place and asked the king of the genie to allow him a place to say his prayer to 'Allah'. The Genie king got angry and denied then Badar Shah requested him to consider the case again as he only need a place as big as a 'Cherag' ( A type of light that is shown in the movie 'Aladin' to call out the genie) can light. The genie king then relaxed and allowed him to light his 'Cherag'. Then Badar Shah light his 'Cherag' on this place, showed in the picture. The genies and ghosts then escaped as they can't live in light and the light hence explored the modern chittagong from this place. This place is called 'Cheragi Hill' (The word 'Cheragi came from the word 'Cherag').
